Mark Achola

Mark is an experienced business leader with the cultivated and proven ability to deliver impressive business growth, build effective, driven and successful teams as well as establish profitable cross industry business partnerships.
He was the Group Managing Director of AAR Health Care Holdings Ltd in East Africa where he successfully raised capital of USD $10 million from International Finance Corporation, Swedfund International AB, Investment Funds for Health in Africa and led a major growth and transformation effort by growing the AAR outpatient network from 20 facilities to 40 and successfully acquired a controlling interest in Kampala Hospital, Uganda.
Edward has extensive experience in corporate finance and management consulting. He has worked with companies in various industries. He has built extensive expertise in Transaction Advisory and Management, Working Capital & Cash Flow Management, Developing Strategic Partnerships and Opportunities, Negotiations and Capital Raising.
Edward has successfully advised several clients on their growth and capital raising efforts including the acquisition of Metropolitan Hospitals Ltd in Nairobi by then Abraaj Group under the USD $1bn Africa Growth Health Fund and now managed by the Texas Pacific Group (TPG), one of the largest private equity firms in the world with over USD $100bn total assets under management.
